MACFEST 2021: Muslim Culture and Arts Festival

“Due to Covid-19 we had to transfor all our festival events from live to digital and our entire team was new to digital hosting. We therefore sought help from Salford University, as it is one of our partners, our sponsor-in-kind. We were connected to Studio Salford. Luke, the media production manager, trained three members of my team to host webinars. Studio Salford has hosted several webinars as well as our big live digital festival live from Azerbaijan from Baku, many international panels as well as launching our opening ceremony; handling many videos, presentations and speakers with confidence and ease.

For the wonderful work of our team, including Studio Salford’s support, we have been awarded recently the ‘Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service”
