#RediscoveringSalford: University of Salford Art Collection
Studio Salford were asked to produce a series of films for the University of Salford Art Collection which would shine a light on the individual artists and their works for the Rediscovering Salford gallery.
You Belong Here is a new exhibition at the heart of the city-wide creative programme Rediscovering Salford, which highlights and celebrates Salford’s parks and green spaces.
The exhibition launched at Salford Museum & Art Gallery in May 2021, presents five new artist commissions alongside original archive material, photographs and historic artworks.
Studio Salford were engaged to produce a series of films which puts the spotlight on each of the artists involved in the exhibition. Shot on our Sony FS7 Mkii by second year BATAR student, Matthew Robinson, we worked with the University Art Collection on shaping the edit and the look of the final films which will be exhibited on a special website for the exhibition.
In total we produced 5 films for their website and social media which can be found under the artist profiles on their website – https://you-belong-here.salford.ac.uk/
