Digital Curation Lab: Rebrand
The Digital Curation Lab (DCL) at the University of Salford was established in 2019 on the MediaCityUK Campus as a place for all activities within the institution associated with the field of Digital Humanities to come together in a collaborative environment.
The DCL is designed to create opportunities for all to explore the intersections of digital technology, creative arts, information management, humanities, social sciences, and associated areas of engagement.
We were tasked with rebranding DCL, to give them a fresh look, whilst also making sure it was still relatable and didn’t look like a completely new venture. We created a logo and set of brand guidelines to go alongside it.
“Working with Studio Salford on branding identity for the Digital Curation Lab was an overall excellent experience. The entire process was smooth and clear, and the delivered brand identity achieved the standards of effectiveness we were looking for.”
Dr Lamia Sassine, Digital Curation Lab Coordinator
“I have really enjoyed working on my first commission with Studio Salford for Digital Curation Lab, it’s been a great experience and I look forward to seeing them use their new branding.”
